A Scout is always busy; as such these 30 Day Rank Challenges will help you rank up while we are stuck at home. As always, let the Scoutmaster know if you’re going to do the challenge and document your progress — in documents, pictures and videos. Remember — your book is your best resource for assistance in completing the challenges and an excellent place to document it.
Troop 82 will be conducting some online meetings and activities during the COVID-19 crisis.
We will be following the rules of Cyber Chip and Youth Protection Training (YPT) to conduct our online meetings. Please review Cyber Chip requirements if you haven’t already done so. Once completed, let the Scoutmaster know what elements you have completed and we will fill out or get you your Cyber Chip Card.
We will use a product called AnyMeeting to conduct the online sessions. daviestrek Consulting is allowing us to use their subscription to this service. AnyMeeting is more secure than some of the other free options and thus far has not been hacked. Please download AnyMeeting from the following links BEFORE the scheduled meeting:
Troop 82 will be following the BSA National and Blackhawk Area Council (BAC) guidance concerning meetings, camping, and activities. We are going to pause our in-person activities until we have an “all clear” from health officials, BSA, & BAC.
If you haven’t done so, I would encourage you to “subscribe” to the iHub App that BAC uses to disseminate information to all of us. It’s free and you will know what’s happening in the Council. Subscribe to the “Arrowhead District” channel to get the information that impacts us directly.
